Peptide Reconstitution & Research Sample Calculator

A research calculator suite for single peptides, multi-peptide blends, and nasal sprays.

Most peptides are supplied as lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder and must be reconstituted with a diluent such as bacteriostatic water before use in laboratory experiments.

Concentration depends on the peptide amount (mg) and the liquid volume (mL). For example, 5 mg in 2 mL creates 2.5 mg/mL, then you can calculate the volume required for any research sample size.

What this calculator includes

  • Single peptide: mg/mL concentration, draw volume (mL), U-100 unit marks
  • Blend: auto-calculates per-peptide sample sizes from your vial ratios
  • Nasal sprays: assumes 0.1 mL per spray, estimates sample size per spray and sprays per bottle

Research use only. Not medical, clinical, or dosing advice. Always confirm results with your lab SOPs and double-check calculations.

Peptide Sample Calculator

How to Use

Peptide Weight (mg): Amount of peptide powder in your vial, e.g., 5 mg.

Bacteriostatic Water (mL): Volume of diluent you add to the vial (in mL).

Research Sample Size: Amount per sample. Choose mg or mcg. 1 mg = 1000 mcg.

Syringe Volume Scale: Select a syringe capacity (0.3 mL, 0.5 mL, or 1 mL). 1 mL = 100 U-marks.

Note: For research and lab use only. Confirm calculations against your SOP.

Peptide calculator info

This tool helps researchers work out reconstitution and draw volumes. Enter the peptide amount (mg), diluent volume (mL), and a research sample size (mg or mcg). Results include solution concentration, volume to draw in mL, and the equivalent U-100 unit marks for laboratory measuring devices.

Quick conversions

1 mL = 100 U-marks (U-100)
1 mg = 1000 mcg
1 U-mark = 0.01 mL (U-100)
0.1 mL = 1 spray (nasal)
